The spring of 2008 is here and our first foals have arrived. The first to make his appearance on April 17th was Far Field Buccaneer, sired by the stallion we recently purchased from Ruxer Farms, Commander In Charge. The second is a bay filly out of Party Train and sired by County Treasure, young stallion at Reedannland Farm. Here are some photos of a few of last year's foals as well as some from past years. Broodmare and former endurance mare, Hold Me For Ransom, with her 2008 colt by Commander In Charge (Zovoorbij Commander In Chief x Mrs. Snuffleupagus). Katie, as we call her, is old time Saddlebred breeding at its best. She has great bone, strong feet, and tremendous stamina.
